This is Good Death Week. This takes place every year in May. It gives individuals and organisations the opportunity to promote the positives of living in a society where people can be open about dying, death and bereavement.
Each day this week, we will be posting information to promote more open and supportive attitudes to death, dying and bereavement. We would love to hear your thoughts and views throughout the week. Please contact us via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/AHSCP/ or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Making plans when you’re healthy means there is less to think about if you get sick. It is never too soon to think about what you would like to happen if you become ill, or if your illness gets worse.
There are certain practical steps that everyone should take when thinking about planning for the future. Planning ahead in this way will make the financial, legal and practical consequences of illness and death for families much easier to deal with. In the following link, you’ll find helpful information about Power of Attorney and making a will etc. www.goodlifedeathgrief.org.uk
Angus Health & Social Care Partnership will be participating in the National Power of Attorney campaign, which will be coming soon to your television screens, so be sure to keep an eye open for this.
