Angus Integration Joint Board Service User recruitment

Could you help shape health and social care services for adults in Angus?

Angus Health and Social Care Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a member of the public, with lived experience of using community health and/or social care services, to join its Integration Joint Board (IJB) and Strategic Planning Group (SPG). As a non-voting member you will provide a service user perspective and ensure that the voices of service users are heard and influence how person-centred, safe, effective and efficient services are delivered in Angus, now, and in the future.

Following the implementation of the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act on 1 April 2016, adult health and social care services have been delivered by the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, which is a partnership of NHS Tayside and Angus Council. The Angus Integration Joint Board is responsible for the strategic planning of health and social care services for adults and the governance of the Health and Social Care Partnership.

The role of the service user member will be to fully participate in meetings of the Angus IJB and its Strategic Planning Group to ensure that the Board is provided with a service user perspective on all aspects of its business.

You can read more about the role by downloading the information pack here.
