We’re celebrating Occupational Therapy Week to acknowledge the Occupational Therapy Service and the difference they make in Angus to people’s lives.
Julia Scott, CEO, Royal College of Occupational Therapists said:
“Every day, across the UK occupational therapists change lives for the better. Occupational Therapy Week 2019 is a fantastic time to celebrate this. The Royal College knows very well how hard our members work and the extent of the difference they make and we want everyone else to know too”.
You can get involved in the week and show your support by using the hashtag #OTWeek2019 and #SmallChangeBigImpact and sharing on social media your stories of when occupational therapists have made a positive difference to your life or lives of others. We will also be sharing more stories from service users and how they have benefited from Occupational Therapy on our social media channels throughout the week.
Occupational Therapy Staff will be available during OT Week within the reception of Whitehills Health and Community Centre.
Chris and George would like to share their story and their involvement with Occupational Therapy:
