Applying for Sheltered or Retirement Housing
Retirement housing is for people over 60 years of age who wish to live near to others of a similar age. If you wish to apply for retirement housing, please indicate this on your housing application form.
Sheltered housing is for people who have a need for this type of housing because of age, health or other vulnerabilities. If you are interested in applying for sheltered housing contact ACCESSLine on 03452 777 778. Someone from our housing team will contact you to discuss your options. Should you decide to apply, we will carry out a comprehensive assessment of your housing needs.
Demand for these types of housing in some areas is low, so housing may be available quickly.
We provide sheltered and retirement housing in all major towns and villages in Angus.
The Community Alarm service provides an emergency response for tenants who want this service.
Each sheltered and retirement housing complex has a communal lounge. Some also have a communal laundry and guest room.
If you need support with personal care, you should discuss this with your care manager if you have one, or by calling ACCESSLine on 03452 777 778.
