To Absent Friends Festival, 2020

Updated 16/10/2020

We are delighted with the response so far and have decided to extended the deadline for submissions to Sunday 25 October.

Angus Health and Social Care Partnership is pleased to be working with Angus Creative Minds and Forfar Action of Churches Together to host an Absent Friends Festival Event in November.

People who have died remain a part of our lives. To Absent Friends Festival gives people across Scotland an opportunity to remember, to tell stories, to celebrate and reminisce about people we love who have died.

This year we are inviting people from Forfar and surrounding areas to share their stories. Local artists will use images and pictures to symbolise your story and we will bring the stories together to be shared at a virtual a event on Thursday 5th November and available online thereafter.

What do you need to do?

By Sunday 25 October please send your story, up to 200 words or make a voice recording, up to 90 seconds and send to: absentfriends@anguscreativeminds.org.uk or by post To Absent Friends, Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Orchardbank, Forfar, DD8 1AX.

IMPORTANT

By sending you story you agree to it being interpreted visually and shared on Social Media and in local community newsletters. The name of the person providing the story will not be disclosed.
