District Nursing Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the District Nursing Service in Angus. The above posts offer an excellent opportunity for a Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in Community Nursing in the Home/Diploma in District Nursing to lead Teams in the North Locality covering the areas of Brechin, Montrose, Forfar, Kirriemuir and across Angus. The successful candidates will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service which will mean rotation of shifts/base to ensure provision of service over the 24-hour period over 7 days.

You will help us to ensure we have the right staffing levels in the right settings, ensuring we fulfil our obligations to the people we care for. Although there is no guaranteed or minimum level of work, as a social care bank worker, you will be offered assignments on an “as required basis” and will have flexibility as to which assignments you accept.
